So silence when no music but still headphones on your head, but few electrical feedback because your headphones were linked to the computer ? Yes. Its like when you are not playing music and then you turn up the volume to maximum you can hear electrical noise. Its a light hissssssss.

Above all, I hope to experience what true silence is like. It feels like an alien concept that I can't even imagine. Even quieter ringing would be a miracle. For now, I'm glad to know there are support groups like this. I hope to contribute my experiences and help in whatever small way I can.
Living with Lifelong Tinnitus, Anxiety, and Hope for Silence
If I'm in silence or away from external sounds that trigger instant reactivity, these tones will go back down to baseline immediately. But my 'baseline' is nowhere near low lol. Maybe I'm being generous, but it might be on higher end of moderate in terms of severity. It's really loud, but I don't mind hearing it in silence now.
