It bonds well to trex, although their colors do not match trex precisely.
Webdec 5, 2023 · i'd make a putty out of resin and fine filings from a spare piece of trex.
I'd use 80 grit or finer sandpaper for a good result.
Fill the holes, let cure, then sand flush.

My help got carried away trying to fasten railing to the sleeves and drilled before making sure.
