Brett, follow sousclef's instructions for getting into the keyboard shortcut customiser, then follow Stefan Blom's instructions for locating the correct command. Make sure you select "All commands" in the Categories menu. I had to map FileNewDefault to CTRL+N AND map Bold to CTRL+B. This has done the trick for me. Hope it helps.

If you are a normal Office 365 user and you want to check the Teams history, you can try to contact your golbal admin to help you, and the Teams chat history can be searched in the Office 365 Security& Compliance Admin Center, and you don't worry about the chat history disappeared.

Totally agree with you Brett that this is unfortunate and a setback. I also used this feature a huge amount. This removal just added a huge amount more clicks to get where I need to go. Ideally I want to keep all the apps I have open and up (Not using Windows D to minimize everything) and launch something from a file folder on my desktop.
